Welcome to the registration process for the PNW MicroFusion Immersion! It's important that you (and anyone registering with you) review the notes below before continuing to the Breitenbush registration site.
Experience Required: This adult (18+) immersion is designed for dancers with at least 6-12 months of experience in Fusion or another framed partner form (Blues, Lindy Hop, Tango, Swing, Bachata, Zouk, Kizomba, etc), who are ready to explore more complex concepts and creative approaches--it is not for beginners. (Note: Contact Improv and/or Ecstatic Dance do not count as framed partner dance experience.)
Retreat Structure: Please review the retreat Scheduleand note how this retreat is structured as an abundant buffet rather than a continuous instructional arc. It's designed for you to guide your own adventure--we do not expect everyone at every session. And while this retreat includes some expert-led instructional sessions, it is an immersion, not an intensive--building skills is a part of the weekend, but not the focus. Arrival Time: You may arrive any time after 3pm on Friday, April 24th. Everyone is required to arrive in time for our opening orientation at 7:15 pm that evening. This session is the foundation for establishing our community agreements, which are vital for fostering a safe and connected retreat culture for everyone.
Crowdedness: Breitenbush requires registration of 80+ people in order for us to have exclusive use of the property for the weekend. This can make our dance venue (the North Wing) quite crowded during instructional sessions, which may not be comfortable for some people.
Multiple Occupancy: If you're registering others for your lodging, you must provide their full name(s) and email address(es) when you register. You may not reserve a spot for an unnamed "TBD" individual. Cancellation Policy: Please read the event cancellation policy carefully, as it differs from the standard Breitenbush Personal Retreat policy: Cancellation and refund requests submitted at least 14 days prior to the start date of this event will be accepted, and the full balance will be refunded minus a $100.00 service charge. Requests submitted less than 14 days prior to the start date of this event will be accepted, but a refund will only be applied if the space can be filled either by a new registration or from the event waitlist. The $100.00 service charge will still be collected. Supporting Community: You are invited to contribute to our Community Support Fund, which directly helps us offer the BIPOC discount and other scholarships, making this retreat accessible to more people. You'll have this opportunity to contribute at Step 6 on the Breitenbush registration site. Your generosity is deeply appreciated!
