About Breitenbush
​Autumn Fusion Immersion
Immerse yourself in Fusion Dance and the soothing hot springs of Breitenbush! This retreat is a mix of instructional classes, social dancing, and somatic awareness sessions, designed to build skills and deepen community connections. And you get to choose your own adventure amongst this wide array of activities. Whether you come alone or with companions, the Fusion Dance community is warm and welcoming—and upholds a culture of consent & attunement.

This adult (18+) Immersion is designed for dancers who have established a foundational understanding of Fusion Dance or another framed partner form (Blues, Lindy Hop, Tango, Swing, Bachata, Zouk, Kizomba, etc); it is not for beginners. We welcome participants with at least 6-12 months of consistent partner dance experience, who are ready to explore more complex concepts and creative approaches. (Note: Contact Improv and/or Ecstatic Dance do not count as partner dance experience.) 

Breitenbush Fusion Immersion is a queer-led event, and supports non-normative gender roles on the dance floor.

We will occupy the whole Breitenbush property, with up to 85 participants (no personal retreats during the same weekend). All dances & other sessions will be held in the North Wing of the Lodge.
Breitenbush Fusion Immersion includes:

​♥  Three days and two nights at Breitenbush Hot Springs
♥  Eight expert-led instructional sessions and seven social dance DJ sets
♥  Full access to all Breitenbush soaking pools and facilities
♥  A variety of lodging options, from yurts to cabin rooms to vehicle camping.
♥  Lodging is inclusive of bountiful, organic, vegetarian meals (3X per day). An optional meal plan is egg-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free.
♥  Extra amenities, including organic coffee and late night snacks.

At Breitenbush, with its seven unique pools, cold plunge, and sauna, you'll experience this wonderful rhythm all weekend long. Our dance sessions will deepen your connection to yourself and others, while the mineral-rich waters melt away tension and refresh you. This interplay of movement and stillness creates a truly transformative experience, leaving you deeply connected to your body, the Fusion community, and the natural world.
